refresh rate. Opening and closing parameter groups or switching from one tab to another will

work very slowly if the refresh rate is too high.

Plug-in Help - Click the Plug-in Help button to get information about installing the plugins

needed to view live streams in your web browser.

Manual Selection - Click the Manual Selection button to zoom into or out of the streamed

image by using the mouse wheel. You can also use the vertical and horizontal scroll bars around

the streamed image to adjust the zoom section as necessary.

Fit to Window - Click the Fit to Window button to fit the image to the window.

Note that the Manual Selection and Fit to Window button is a toggle button that changes its

functionality depending on the current state.

Autofocus functionality

The autofocus functionality enables easy focusing during the installation of the dome camera using

a motorized lens.

For detailed information about installing the Basler IP camera, refer to the Basler IP Fixed Dome

Camera Installation Guide.

Note that not all dome camera models are equipped with an autofocus motor. For more information

about the specific camera models with autofocus functionality, refer to the specification tables in

Section 8 on page 109.

Dome camera models with autofocus functionality show an additional One Push Focus button on the

left side of the Basler tool bar.

Note that the One Push Focus command is intended to be used only during the installation procedure

of the dome camera. Once the camera has been installed and the focus has been adjusted, the

One Push Focus command should not be used anymore during normal operation. In addition, it is

used to focus on the object/s of interest only once. (No automatic refocusing during operation.)

Clicking on One Push Focus starts the autofocus sequence. The focused image is shown on the

Live Stream tab, where a blue/grey bar indicates the focusing process as long as the focus is

adjusted.

Note that the quality of the focusing result might be influenced by:

 object movements during the focusing process

 changes in lighting conditions

 low lighting level

 low temperature (note the ambient temperature restrictions mentioned on the next page)
